YOGA THERAPY

Sally works with children and young people in schools, studios and in the comfort of your own home to provide therapeutic yoga tailored to individual needs. Yoga Therapy sessions are suitable for a range of additional needs and conditions including autism, Downs Syndrome, sensory impairment, developmental delay, learning difficulties, ADHD and cerebral palsy. Families that access yoga therapy are sharing that yoga is life changing and promotes wellbeing and independence for all that take part. Yoga can also compliment other kinds of physical therapy such as physiotherapy.

Why yoga therapy?

As well as the physical benefits for children with physical limitations, yoga supports children with bringing themselves into a calm and peaceful state. It is a fantastic tool to support regulation of emotions to empower children to cope in situations that they find themselves in, which may be challenging and stressful.

My daughter Amelie has started therapeutic yoga with Sally. She’s really enjoying it. Sally made Amelie feel at ease really quickly and listened to her. I’d recommend these sessions to anyone with a child who has additional needs.
